The marking box is mainly used for inspecting and marking the parallelism and verticality of components.A square box is a specific six working face cavity cube made of cast iron or steel,with a V-shaped groove on one of the working faces.The environmental conditions for square box calibration are normal temperature and humidity.

The material description of the marked square box is manufactured according to the JB/T3411.56-99 standard,and the material is HT200.

The main requirement is that each working surface of the marking square box must not have rust,scratches,cracks,dents,or other defects that affect the measurement performance.Non working surfaces should be sandblasted and painted with chamfered edges.

Accuracy of marking square boxes:For scraped square boxes,in addition to verifying flatness,color coating should be used to verify contact spots.The number of spots on any square with a side length of 25mm in the marked square box is:no less than 25 points for level 1 and level 2;Level 3 with no less than 20 points.
