Cast iron ruler

Cast iron rulers have a vertically parallel frame combination, suitable for mechanical and instrument inspection, as well as inspection of non verticality between machine tools. They are important tools used to check the non verticality between various internal components of machine tools.

Cast iron rulers are manufactured according to the GB/6318-85 standard, made of HT250 material. The working surface adopts scraping or grinding processes, which are used to measure the straightness and flatness of workpieces and equipment installation. The operating temperature is (20 ± 5 ℃).

Cast iron square rulers, also known as square rulers, cast iron square rulers, inspection square rulers, rectangular angle rulers, square angle rulers, parallel square rulers, equilateral square rulers, angle rulers and square rulers are used for precision inspection, geometric accuracy measurement, component measurement, scraping and grinding process processing of machine tool guides and workbenches, and are the benchmark for measurement.

A flat ruler is used to check the flatness of flat plates, long guides, etc. using coloring and indicator methods, and is also commonly used to check the straightness of workpiece edges using the light gap method. Flat rulers are generally made of cast iron, and rectangular rulers are also made of bearing steel or granite.
